These are the slides for a talk I presented to Mark Hansen's statistics seminar at UCLA. There's a lot going on here and I wish I had thought to write this talk out in long-form. I am pretty sure the delivery, which was a bit of a manic firehose, didn't help any of the larger arguments or broader ideas I was trying to get across.
